Project Payatas began through community outreach in 2021 and developed a home-based textile upcycling model led by mothers in Payatas. The experience demonstrated how discarded textile materials can be transformed into useful products while supporting flexible supplementary livelihood.
Project Pilipinas builds on this operating experience by developing a wider system for textile collection, sorting, traceability, community matching, partner reporting, and future material recovery.
